Two parts: found, and booked
Found switches on the moment your page is live. Everything an AI needs to recommend you (your services, prices, opening hours and location) is published in the format AI search and assistants read. There's nothing to set up.
Booked is your choice. AI assistants that support it (Claude does today, with more arriving) can check your availability and request an appointment straight from the chat. You switch this on when you're ready.
You stay in control
An AI can only ever request a booking. It's built so nothing happens behind your back:
- Off until you turn it on. Being found is always safe; letting an AI book is a switch you flip.
- Your customer confirms every time. Each request emails them a one-tap confirm link. Nothing is booked on their behalf.
- Nothing squats your diary. If a request isn't confirmed, the time frees itself back up.
- No money moves. An AI never takes a deposit. If a service needs one, your customer is sent to your secure page.
How to turn it on
It's one checkbox. In your dashboard, open Settings›Confirmations and switch on Let AI assistants request bookings. Your page starts answering AI assistants straight away, every request still confirms with your customer first, and any that come through show in Bookings marked "via an app".
Common questions
Which AI assistants can book my customers?
Being found works broadly: AI search and answer tools read the structured details on your page. Booking works today with assistants that support the open standard we use (Claude is one), and more are adding it. As the big consumer assistants open up, your page is already ready.
Could an AI book fake appointments?
It's guarded against exactly that. An AI can only request a hold, your customer must confirm it with a one-tap link, unconfirmed holds expire on their own, and there are limits on how many a single source can make. A request with no real person behind it simply never becomes a booking.
Do I need to do anything technical?
No. Your booking page does all of it. (If you build with AI tools yourself, there's a small developer reference, just ask us for the link.)
Can I turn it off?
Any time, untick the same box. Being found stays on so you don't disappear from AI search, but no AI can request a booking once it's off.
