Where it lives
Home is the first item in the left menu and where you land when you sign in. On your phone it's the first tab in the bottom bar. Sally herself is a separate page, Sally, further down the same menu (the sparkle in the middle of the phone bar), not a bubble floating over Home.
Clear your morning in three moves
Read the top of the page
It greets you by name and shows the shape of your day: your next appointment with a countdown, the rest of today's list, and whether anything is still waiting to be confirmed. If today is empty it offers a Share booking link button instead.
You'll see: one line that tells you where you stand.Work down the Needs-you list
Each row is something only a person can do: approve messages Sally drafted, confirm pending bookings, or nudge regulars due to rebook. Click a row and you land on exactly those items, already filtered.
You'll see: the row disappear once it's done. When there's nothing left it says you're all caught up.Glance at this week's numbers
Bookings, revenue and the one owners like most, bookings captured after hours: the appointments Sally took while you were closed, asleep or with a client. For the full picture, open Insights.
You'll see: a compact strip of this-week figures beside your day.
Booking alerts on your phone
You can have Suddenly buzz your phone when something happens, so you're not refreshing between clients. When it's available, Home shows a Booking alerts on this device banner with a Turn on button; we never ask for permission uninvited. Manage it later under Settings›Push notifications on this device.
- New bookingsIncluding group bookings
- Callbacks and enquiriesSomeone left their details
- CancellationsSo you can fill the gap
- Your morning summary7am, skipped on empty days
All four are on to start with; switch off any you don't want. Alerts are per device, so turn them on for your phone and laptop separately. Both appear under Notifications with the option to remove one.
What Home won't do
Common questions
Why don't I see the Turn on alerts button on my iPhone?
Apple only allows alerts once the app is on your Home Screen. In Safari tap Share, then Add to Home Screen, open Suddenly from that icon, and the banner appears.
The Needs-you list is empty. Is something broken?
No. It only lists jobs that genuinely need a human. An empty list with “you're all caught up” means Sally has nothing waiting on you.
Can my staff see Home too?
Managers see the same Home. Staff logins see their own day and next appointment but not business-wide numbers. Roles are set under Team.
