What does the Insights page actually tell me?

Three things, in plain English: the estimated value of bookings Sally captured after hours, whether you're growing compared with the same length of time before, and where the next bit of money is. It's on every plan, and the numbers are already there when you open it.

Where it lives

Click Insights in the left menu, under Growth. Across the top is a range toggle: 7 days, 30 days, 90 days or This month. Pick one and the whole page updates, including every "compared with the period before" figure, so you're always looking at like for like. On your phone, Insights is in the More sheet.

Read the page top to bottom

  1. While you were closed

The first band estimates the dollar value of bookings Sally captured after hours: the ones made outside your opening hours that would otherwise have waited until morning, or gone to whoever answered first. Beside it: chats Sally handled, how many became bookings, and the reminders and review requests she sent for you.

You'll see: a dollar figure and a booking count that change with the range you picked.
  2. How you're growing

A row of cards, each with a change against the previous period: Bookings, Estimated booking value, New vs returning and No-show rate. For no-shows, down is good; pair it with no-shows & auto-hold and reminders to keep it low.

  3. Where the opportunity is

The last section turns the numbers into things you can act on: a busy and quiet windows chart of your week, regulars worth winning back who have gone quiet, and your top services. Quiet windows are the natural place for a promotion; lapsed regulars are the ones to send a rebooking reminder.

How the numbers are worked out

  • "After hours" means outside your opening hoursWe look at when each booking was created
  • Dollars are an estimateThe prices of the services booked, added up
  • Previous period is the same lengthLast 30 days against the 30 before

So the closer your service prices and opening hours are to reality, the sharper the estimates. A booking made at 9pm on a Sunday counts as after hours; one made mid-morning on a working day doesn't.

Honest by designThe value figure is a confident estimate, not an invoice. It doesn't know about discounts, add-ons or a client who paid for two. Treat it as "roughly what Sally saved you", not takings.

Common questions

The after-hours figure seems high

Check your opening hours first. If they're set narrower than you actually work, more bookings count as after hours. Then check service prices: an old price on a popular service skews the total.

Why is a card blank or showing a dash?

Not enough data in the range yet. New accounts and the 7-day range are the usual culprits. Switch to 30 or 90 days, or give it a week.

Can my staff see Insights?

Owner logins can. Staff logins are scoped to the day-to-day and don't see business-wide numbers. Roles are set under Your team.
